As part of the Kilkenny Nighttime Economy initiative we will be hosting a series of pop-up events in one of our favourite coffee shops in town – Tower and Castle!
Come and join us for four cosy evenings of games, fun and laughs.
This is your chance to spend the evening in a cafe after hours, playing a selection of boardgames in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our games range from multi player party games, dexterity games, head to head, and more advanced strategy games. New and exciting titles, and of course the classics. Have a look at our library to see some of what will be available on the night.
If you’ve never played the games before you don’t need to worry, we’ve played most of them so will be on hand to help get you choose and started on something that will be fun for you!
Each night will feature some “win the game” activities where everyone can compete at the same game, and the winner will take home a copy of the game as a trophy.
Come alone or come with friends. You’re sure to have a great time!
Tickets are €10 (limited number of tickets available for €6 with the promo code KKNTE) and include entry for the full duration of the event, access to all of the board games and the option to join in our larger group games.

There will be a specially curated selection of drinks and snacks available to purchase at the event.
Please note that no outside food or drink is permitted into the venue.
The events welcome everyone ages 16 and over.
Yes! Whether you’re part of the event or not, our shop will be open, with a selection of games available to buy on the night.
